I used to enthusiastically recommend Udemy, because it was a great way to get video courses for $10-12. They’ve recently changed the pricing and discount scheme and now most of the courses are closer to $200, which is not a good deal. Apparently, even instructors aren’t able to discount the courses back down to the lower level now. :frowning:

I’ve started removing links to Udemy and will recommend alternatives. There are plenty of free resources on YouTube and other sites.

Agreed. I don’t like these business models where they’re nearly free to entice instructors to build content and then flip the model once someone else has done the “heavy lifting”.
