Can I install python and java on Samsung book 2?

I’m not sure, but I’m guessing yes (unless it has some weird, locked-down OS). What is the operating system type and version?

I called Samsung they said is not compatible but why??

From the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 webpage:

“Windows 10 in S mode works exclusively with apps from the Microsoft Store within Windows. Some accessories and apps compatible with Windows 10 may not work (including some antivirus and accessibility apps) and performance may vary, even after switching out of S mode. If you switch out of S mode, you can’t switch back. Learn more at windows.com/SmodeFAQ”

In addition, there are many posts online by people who have been unable to switch out of S mode, both on the Galaxy Book 2 and other laptops.

Personally, I would say buying anything with Windows in S mode is, at the least, very risky.

Did you already buy the computer?

Edit: if yes, we could look into ways around the problem. If no, it might be easier to look for a different computer.

Am old dell
Also I hv an iPad Pro I know I can use pythonista on it
If u could ask around about the Samsung book 2 and python/java would great

You gotta love the sales hyperbole which suggests that the you-can-only-buy-apps-from-Microsoft is to make things more reliable.
