It doesn’t look cheap, given the prices. I suppose that’s a good thing.
I looked into some of the consumer products perhaps two years ago and there was what seemed to be a credible critique from a Mid-west college which asserted that the data provided was completely fabricated from the ~$100 technology that was available.
Maybe this OpenBCI is now the real deal. Personally, I’d like to take the route of using an EMG sensor at the TMJ joint of the jaw in order to create a speech interface.
